Conservation Team Member

Permanent Full Time

Band 3 - $57,551 - $61,425 (+ 9.5% super, industry allowance & RDO)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Conservation team for an experienced conservation professional.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Council’s Conservation areas. You must have a Trade Certificates in Natural Resource Management and/or Conservation, Horticulture and/or relevant on the job experience in Conservation practices with a broad technical knowledge in this field. You will hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence with preference for light rigid truck endorsement, desirable to have a Chainsaw Operators Certificate and hold an Agricultural Chemical Users Permit.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in weed control and revegetation, proven ability in the operation and basic maintenance of a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment, demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment and with the public, strong commitment to customer focus and commitment and ability to lead others when required.
